Great concept & design but the taste of this bottle is absolutely disgusting. I followed the directions to a T over 10x & I cannot get the plastic rubber taste out of the bottle. It will not go away or even subside a little bit. If it didn’t taste horrible it would be a perfect bottle for running or going on hikes. But I’m sorry I can’t justify buying a water bottle that makes water taste like plastic just bc it’s sort of convenient.

Bite valve is a bit stiff

I got this to use for backpacking alongside of another similar one I have that's a name brand. The name brand one is slightly better, but this one is good enough since it was about half the price.
Pros:
Squishy and flexible so it's easy to get into the waist pocket of a pack, since it will deform to fit the pocket
Doesn't leak. I filled it up and put a pretty good squeeze on it and it didn't leak a drop
Doesn't taste like plastic (I washed it first of course)
Cons:
The bite valve is stiff, so I had to bite down much harder than I expected to get the water to flow
It needs something to keep it rolled up when its not in use. My other one has a silicone band built into the top that can loop around the folded bottle to keep it from flopping around.
It's a bit of a pain to get the bite valve cover off and on with one hand.
Bottom line: this is a decent collapsible water bottle for the price. I do prefer my name brand one but it was twice the cost, so this is a much more budget friendly option that gets the job done.
