The glass is not thin. Sure, it's not as thick as the milk bottles, but it's still substantial and high quality. Would definitely buy again!!

These are nice for use in the refrigerator, just not the freezer. I like to buy a gallon of milk (cheaper per ounce) and divide into quart bottles. I freeze 2 quarts and put 2 in the refrigerator.
The 2 that I put in the freezer I allowed 2 inches of headroom. One was fine but the other one broke.
In the future I will not put the last one in the freezer.
I like the lid that comes with it. Good seal.
