16oz / 1 pint size is great for packing light on a small day trip where you don't anticipate needing much water. Wide mouth lid makes it easy to wash up. It should be noted that the lid is a bit smaller than the "normal" 32oz / 1 quart sized nalgene, so you won't be able to interchange accessories. For someone who drinks a lot of water like me, this size feels like a shot glass of water… BUT it is something… and perfect when your bag for the day simply doesnt have room for a larger bottle. I give it an easy 5 stars for the usual high quality that nalgene is known for (durable, no leaks, water doesn't taste funny), and the fact that the size is small but very functional.

I love this water bottle. It is short enough to not fall out of the side holsters on any of my backpacks. Yes, I will agree that water from it tastes a bit like plastic. However, I bought it for it's extra utility besides storing water. I own exactly one emergency light, a headlamp, and we recently had a power outage. The plastic this is made of is absolutely fantastic at bouncing light around, see photo. It sheds enough light to give a soft glow to a smallish table around it, enough to see what you're eating and who you're eating with. I plan on taking it camping with me in the future.

I keep mine in my every day pack, and this little bottle motivates me to drink water more often than the larger model. For me I feel accomplished when I finish drinking 16 oz, and soon after I'm ready for refill after refill. Drinking from larger containers was a drag. Lugging around copious amounts of water wasn't fun. It just seemed like more work than necessary.

This water bottle is a great transportable size and doesn't seem to have any odd taste to it. I've tried aluminum and it just tastes odd to me. Tried glass and the plastic top tasted odd. Tried several other brands plastic water bottles and they all tasted off to me. The size also works great for me. Fits in a backpack OK, fits in the car OK and fits in my motorcycle luggage just fine. Some people like HUGE water bottles for hikes but I like to keep the weight down. Not big enough? Bring a small jug to refill after a hike.

very small, I didn't realize that it was tiny and I would be stuck with it as it didn't give size dimensions I didn't see the small 1 pint till after I it had been delivered. The cost to return is the cost of the bottle itself and I bought 4 of them thinking that they would be good for hiking but it is so small that it might work for a very young child but not a older child or adult. If you are looking for a small water bottle this would work otherwise it is a waste of $$ for the size.

Tried to change my standard Nalgene bottles (I have… a lot… of Nalgene bottles!) to save some weight.
Excellent bottles, but the plastic is much softer and deforms more easily then the normal ones. Also, I am not as confident putting anything but water in them.
